In a lowly manger,
In a world so torn.

Angels all around were singing,
Peace to all on Earth.
Shepherds came to honor
His birth.

In the sky a star so bright,
Led the wise men three.
From a far and distant land,
Hoping they would see.

Promise of the Ages,
Messiah, Saviour, King.
Blessed were they with faith,
Traveling.

Mother Mary at his side,
On her bended knee.
Joseph watching, wondering,
Guarding constantly.

On that night the world was changed,
The Father’s love came down.
